It’s ideal for full lamination applications in displays of various sizes, ensuring better display quality and improved touch sensitivity.

Optical Clear Film (OCF)

Optical Clear Film is a pressure-sensitive adhesive film with excellent light transmittance, minimal haze, and strong adhesion properties. Unlike liquid adhesives, OCF is a pre-formed film, making it easier to handle in cleanroom environments and suitable for automated lamination processes.

OCF is typically composed of multiple layers:

• Release liner

• Optically clear adhesive layer

• Base film (optional)

• Protective film

Structure:

• Cover Lens / Touch Panel

• Display Module (LCD/LCM)

Process:

1. Cleaning: TP and LCM surfaces are cleaned to remove particles and moisture.

2. Lamination: The OCF film is aligned and laminated between the TP and LCM using precision equipment.

3. De-airing: Air bubbles are removed through vacuum lamination or roller lamination.

4. Curing (if needed): Some OCFs may require thermal curing or pressure bonding to finalize adhesion.
