What Is a G+G Touch Screen?

G+G stands for Glass + Glass.

It consists of two glass layers: a cover glass on the top and a glass-based sensor layer underneath. That's why it's called a Glass + Glass structure.

What Is a G+F Touch Screen?

G+F stands for Glass + Film.

Like G+G, it has a glass cover lens. However, the touch sensor layer is made from PET film instead of glass, which is why it's called Glass + Film.

Although these two structures look very similar, their performance characteristics are quite different.

Advantages of G+G

If your application requires high reliability, G+G is usually the better choice.

Its key advantages include:
